1. What is Rapidworkers and How it works ?

Rapidworkers is a service of UnikScripts, Inc. and is  free to join . The website is pretty similar to Microworkers and has almost same working interface although Microworkers website is somewhat more innovative and professional . There are two kind of people at Rapidworkers –
Employers –  Employers are the people who post tasks for workers. When a worker accept and complete a task , the employer review the task and check if the worker have done it correctly or not , if  employer is satisfied with the work then he rate the task as satisfied and pays money for that task. This is the way how Employers get their work done here.
Workers – They are the people  who complete tasks for money.

This is an example task . See the above picture – the employer is asking worker to do a sign-up task . The task will take 3 minutes as shown in the picture above. The task is available for international members and 18 people have completed the task already. The employer will pay $0.10 for this task.
Employers post a verity of tasks  include –

• download a file , android or iOS app
• Write a review
• Like Facebook , Twitter pages
• Comment/like You Tube video

That entirely depends upon your location , time you give and skills you got. People from UK , USA , Australia, Canada , Norway and NZ have always more opportunities and tasks that pays more. If you are from any other country then its going to be certainly difficult for you. Still you earn 1-3 USD per hour . Also they give you $1 just for signing up.

Payments are sent via PayPal & Payza. Their withdrawal threshold is very low and that can be a real advantage for international members. You can place a withdrawal request if your balance is over $4.00 + 6% fees. Steps you need to follow for withdrawal-
Click Support tab/Submit button/then select PayPal or Payza Withdraw / enter the amount and email to send in box. Payments are processed (Maximum 1 week after placing a withdrawal request}
You can also use your balance to start a campaign , i.e.,  no need to deposit money separately  by credit card or Paypal  to start a campaign.

How to Create an AdSense Account

As a blogger, you have surely heard of the AdSense program from Google which is regarded as one of the best contextual advertisement programs available.

In this post, I will demonstrate how you can create an AdSense account for your website.

There are many AdSense alternatives available, but no matter what network you try, you will likely find that Adsense is the best.

When I started blogging, “AdSense” was a foreign concept to me. When I initially signed up for AdSense, I needed a lot of help from my friends, and I still was not sure I was doing it right.For beginners who are not familiar with AdSense, it is an advertisement program for publishers started by Google (See Wiki details), wherein contextual ads are placed on your blog and you get paid when someone clicks on these ads.In this blog post, I present an essential guide for beginners who are not sure how to apply for AdSense.There are a couple requirements which you must meet before you can apply for AdSense:

• First, of course, you need to have a website.
• You also must be above the age of 18, otherwise you will need to apply using the name of a parent or guardian who gives you permission to do so.

Steps to create an AdSense account:

AdSense has recently changed the account approval process to include the following steps:

• Sign up for AdSense
• Add AdSense ads to your blog
• Wait while your account is reviewed and either accepted or rejected

Although the new AdSense account approval process is quite lengthy, the process will ultimately help to maintain the quality of AdSense for all users.

It is also important to make sure your blog or website is abiding byAdSense policies before applying.

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an AdSense Account:

First, go to the Signup page for AdSense.

You will see an option to create a new Google account, or you can choose to use your existing Google account.

Note: If you have a custom domain name & you are using Google Apps for your domain email address, I suggest you use that to sign up for your AdSense account. When you use domain specific email addresses (admin@domain.com), the chances of getting your AdSense application approved is increased by a factor of 3.

Otherwise, you can use your existing gmail address.

Website Details:

This form is straight-forward. You simply need to enter your website address and select the content language. For the website URL use your blog address, and make sure to add it without “http://”.

AdSense contact information:

This is the most important part.

I remember making a couple of mistakes at this part when I first signed up. Hopefully, if you follow this guide, you won’t make the same mistakes.

The “payee name” is very important. Make sure to use the same name under which you have a bank account, as AdSense will be sending you checks or EFT payment under that name.

If you make a mistake here, changing the payee name of your account will be difficult in many countries, including India.

• Here is the list of countries which are not allowed to change the payee name after signing up.

So ensure your bank account name and payee name are exactly the same.

Next add your contact information and fill in the other details.

Accept AdSense policies:

Read the AdSense policies and put a checkmark in all three boxes.

Once done, click on “Submit”, and on the next page you can review your details.

Make sure that all the details are accurate and up to date!

Signing up with your email account:

You can use your current email address to sign up, or you can create a new gmail ID just for AdSense. For fast approval, I would suggest you to use ZohoMail, and create a free domain-specific email address.

In my case, when I tried to sign up using a generic gmail address, I was rejected four times.  However, when I later applied using a domain-specific email address, I got instant AdSense approval.

Once you have signed up for AdSense, you need to add AdSense codes to your blog. The AdSense team will review your application again after you add the codes, and your account will be activated with an Adsense Pinthat will be sent to you.

All of this takes approximately  1-2 months depending upon your geographical location.

Once everything is set up, in order to get paid from AdSense you need to complete two further steps:

• Submit your tax information
• Enter your pin

You will need to submit a tax form specific to how you are conducting business. For certification of No U.S. activities, and for Indian AdSense publishers, you can fill in this tax information:

SEOs don't talk about advertising much, perhaps because it's the conceptual opposite of “great content.” The truth is, advertising is the gasoline that runs much of the web. Without ad revenue, great sites we love like Search Engine Land, Smashing Magazine, and even Wired might cease to exist.
Ads are great, but as SEOs we need to present them as the commercials that they are, not the main show.

Optimizing for CTR the Old Way

When Panda struck, sites like this got hit hard, time and time again. Even websites with superior content were penalized if they contained over-aggressive ads above the fold. I don't know if the site above was penalized by Panda, but I'm guessing their traffic is not as healthy as it could be, and a simple layout change would help significantly.

1. Ads as a Ranking Factor

The 2011 Ranking Factors showed a slight negative correlation between rankings and the amount of Adsense on a page.

Several Panda updates have rolled out since this data was collected, and I would expect the relationship today to be even more negative.
Although Adsense isn't the only game on the market, it's the one ad network SEOs get the most information from. Matt Cutts has said that his team sends one way messages to the Adsense team in order to help webmasters comply with Google quality guidelines.
In April, after Panda hit, Adsense changed how they advocate best practices for ad placement. Gone (or at least tucked away) were the old heat maps.

2. Panda Friendly Layouts

The new layouts specifically advocate for ads that do not push content below the fold.

These are the types of layouts that should be safe no matter what kind of ads you run. You can see earlier versions in their one-click optimizer, but these older layouts don't go very far in placing content first. Use at your own risk.

3. Balance Your Template Footprint

Ads are a component your template footprint. A template footprint is any non-unique content that appears on every page, as opposed to content that makes the page unique.

It's best to keep your ratio of unique content to footprint as high as possible. If you can't reduce your template footprint, at least place your content in the highest, most prominent place possible in order to stay out of the penalty zone.

4. Future Proof Your Ads

The new Adsense recommendations are great for this round of Panda, but what about next year? In my opinion, they represent the minimum of what you should do to avoid a penalty.
The New York Times does a good job of balancing ads against content. Their strategy neither ignores users nor puts them at risk for near-future algorithm changes.
Aggressive ads tend to alienate users, which can affect your bounce rate, time on site, pageviews and other user engagement metrics. All of these can have undesirable long term consequences. For publishers dedicated to long term profits, there is a better approach.

5. Beyond CTR – Smart Ways to Increase Ad Revenue

It's true that higher click-through rates give webmasters incentive to place ads above content. But CTR isn't the only way to increase earnings. You can optimize several other factors to your long term advantage. If you are an Adsense publisher, you are familiar with these concepts.

1. Coverage
2. Cost-Per-Click (CPC)
3. Cost Per Impression (CPI or CPM)
4. Impressions

All of these can be optimized for higher earnings. Number 4, impressions, is the most actionable from an SEO point of view. If you're producing great content and promoting it the right way, then your pageviews will soar. Here in the States, the SuperBowl will always make more in ad revenue than reruns of Murder, She Wrote.
